Former Penygraig Junior School

This is a new build site on the grounds of the former Penygraig Junior School, situated on a steep sloping site. Careful design and consideration were necessary for the retaining walls, with significant input from SABS for this project focused on creating affordable homes. Logistics have been challenging due to the narrow, busy roads of terraced housing surrounding the site. As usual, we collaborated with the customer's clerk of works and local building inspectors to ensure all aspects of the scheme were built according to the design and specification. The scheme is currently on target with the programme, with all houses built and closed, and the final elements underway, thanks to CARTREFI LIMITED's commitment to quality.
